A worldview is a coherent system of
thought that shapes how a person understands the universe and covers
all areas of life and academia. This is similar to wearing colored
glasses that give a different tint to all you see. However, just as 2
+ 2 has just one answer, there is just one worldview that
fits reality correctly.
A Christian worldview is based on two
facts: First, God exists. Second, the Bible is the inspired Word of
God and is therefore Ultimate Truth. There is reasonable evidence
for both of these facts which I will cover in the future. Here is an
outline with links about the topics considered here. Some of these
will be to this blog and some will be external links.
This first part is an outline of what
many Christians have historically believed. I am planning on filling
it in through a series of blog posts and pasting links here. This
outline is an adaptation of the headings in The
Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689).
